Saturday July 26, 2008 early evening - Big Boy$ Toy$ will be hosting a Classic Car Show on the downtown streets of Antwerp. Come one - Come all They always put on a very good show for all ages.
Saturday August 9, 2008 from 10 am to 5 pm - The Antwerp Chamber of Commerce is again sponsoring "Day in the Park". This event is for everyone who likes great food, unique crafts, variety of entertainment and a Classic Car Cruise-In. 50' & 60's Music will be provided by C & R Karaoke in the car show area for your listening pleasure.
V.E.T.S. WILL BE OFFERING NACHO CHIPS & CHEESE OR THE WORKS, VARIOUS SOFT DRINKS, AND WATER TO WHET THE APPETITE OF EVERYONE. We look forward to serving you at BOTH events! Stop in to see us.
VETS will also offer FRESH POPCORN July 26 only, courtesy of Rex and Cathy Shaner.
Proceeds will go into the building fund for the Antwerp "All Veterans" Memorial in the Park.
This monument will honor those Veterans who have lived at anytime within the Antwerp Local School District. Engraved names on 6" tall tablets will show recognition to those Veterans who are living, deceased & our future Veterans. Help us "Raise the Flag" to reach our goal. All monetary donations will be applied to the entire memorial & accepted from everyone. Veterans names will be engraved from Civil War to present & into the future... at No Charge! They have paid with Time Served!
